The game is very very good though. It's turn based tactics but with simultaneous turns and no randomness. It plays very uniquely.
The developers do seem to have recognised this and given the option for a per level "easy mode" that makes your characters unable to die. But surely they could have also just toned it down a little.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the aliens who invaded and conquered the world are actually fleeing refugees. In case you were wondering how the show's politics could have been even worse.
A second group of aliens invaded Earth and then the show got cancelled. The end.
Humanity is being saved by a tech bro using his control of the surveillance and human categorisation systems to get all the übermenschen together because they're the only ones who can fight back.
I only realised this because I am trying to get my driver's license updated and for the first time I need to get my health signed off by a doctor due to being diagnosed with sleep apnea.
The system is made by a black man and it's judgements of people are implied to mostly actually work. The problem is just that it's being used badly :(
There is hints here of modern technofacism and almost a point being made. The occupation uses automated systems to categorise people and select leadership. But the way those kinds of systems re-enforce racial and other hierarchies or any other real-world issues are not the problem.
